OUR STORY
Attar Perfume began with a single conviction: that true oud, the resinous heart of the Aquilaria tree, should reach you the way it leaves the still. Not blended, not stretched, not dressed in alcohol. One drop carries the force of a whole forest and wears for hours with a presence you can feel across a room. Our house exists to find the finest single-origin agarwood oils across Asia, let them rest until their character is complete, and place them in your hands unchanged. This is not a fragrance brand. It is a keeping of trust between the forest, the distiller, and you.

One Oil. Nothing Else.
Every bottle that carries our seal holds one thing: pure oud oil from a single origin, 100% alcohol-free. We buy from distillers we know by name, verify every batch for purity, and refuse anything that has been cut, blended, or hurried. What you smell is the tree, the soil, and the years. Nothing added, nothing taken away. That honesty is what gives the oil its power on the skin, and it is why the men and women who wear it say the same thing: it makes them feel rich.

The Oil of Courts and Scholars
In classical Arabic, pure oud oil is called dehn al oud, “the fat of the wood.” Physicians recorded it in their pharmacopoeias, poets folded it into verse, and rulers exchanged it as a gift worthy of kings. It was never meant to be a spray on a shelf; it is an oil placed on the wrist, warmed by the skin, revealed slowly over hours. We keep that older understanding at the centre of everything we bottle.
Craftsmanship
From Tree to Treasure
Five patient steps stand between the wild forest and your bottle. None of them can be rushed.

01 · The Tree
Wild Aquilaria
Deep in the forests of Asia, the Aquilaria tree answers injury with resin. Over decades that dark, fragrant heartwood we call agarwood forms drop by drop. No plantation shortcut ever matches what the wild tree writes in its own time.

02 · The Resin
The Wounded Heart
Harvesters grade each piece of agarwood by hand: weight, colour, and scent. Only resin-saturated heartwood is set aside for the still. The rest is left to burn as bakhoor, as it has been for centuries.

03 · The Distillation
Slow Fire, Small Batches
The wood is soaked, then hydro-distilled over a patient flame for days. A whole kettle of precious agarwood may surrender only a few tolas of oil. Haste ruins it; our distillers never hurry.

04 · The Ageing
Years of Rest
Fresh oud is promising; aged oud is profound. We rest our oils until the smoke softens, the sweetness deepens, and the profile settles into itself. That slow maturing cannot be faked, and it is where the oil earns its power.

05 · The Bottle
Sealed by the House
Each oil is decanted into 3ml, 6ml, and 12ml bottles, verified for purity, and sealed in black and gold. From wounded tree to your wrist, nothing is added and nothing is taken away.
Sourcing
The Lands of Agarwood
Every origin leaves its signature in the oil. We travel to the source regions of agarwood and buy each origin on its own terms.
Single-Origin Agarwood
The House Collection
Each bottle is a place, a season, a tree, offered in 3ml, 6ml, and 12ml.
