Our Story — Attar Perfume
Our story began in Doha, Qatar, in a small family atelier where a shared obsession with aroma slowly became a craft. We’re a mixed American–Middle Eastern family, so our work naturally blends Gulf traditions with a clean, modern sensibility. What started as hand-poured gifts for friends grew into a practice shaped by patience, curiosity, and respect for materials.
We source from growers across Southeast Asia and the Middle East, then macerate and blend in small batches to protect nuance and longevity. Our oud oils are 100% alcohol-free; our eaux de parfum use premium perfumer’s alcohol for honest diffusion and trail. Each bottle is finished with a unique stone cap—cut and hand-finished by Japanese artisans—because we believe the outside should be as considered as the scent within.
We write our labels with the same candor we bring to the bench: clear origins, thoughtful sizing, and nothing overstated. Every release carries a piece of the places and hands behind it—the forests, the distillers, the carvers. From Doha outward, this is our way of making perfume: simple, careful, and true.

At Attar Perfume, our legacy begins in the Islamic Golden Age—where oil-based fragrance was revered as a vessel of spirit and refinement.
